White denim during the summer is iconic. Actually, have you heard the rule “no white after labor day?” I don’t think this is very well known, but that stops after Memorial Day! I don’t really follow that rule throughout the year because I think it’s a little old fashioned, but people definitely used to and I think that’s how white denim became such a staple for the summer. The other day, Jessica and Sophia from my team and I all came to work dressed in white denim but styled in different ways. Everybody looked so cute and it made me think that I should do a blog post on a few of the many different ways you can wear white denim!
I went for a business casual all white look with Topshop uneven hem jeans (40% off) with a Rachel Comey top, Celine Sandals (super similar and more affordable here in white, and also in black for $160), and a Wicker Wings bag (more amazing basket bags here!). My black belt is vintage. My necklaces are from Cartier and Vita Fede and my earrings are from Etro (similar here and here).
Jeans are always my go-to, which you already know, but I also really like how Jessica styled her H&M distressed white denim skirt with a striped cropped off-the-shoulder top (similar here, here, and here).
Sophia wore white denim jeans like me, but paired them with a super cute H&M hawaiian shirt (similar here) that she tied in the front. Her look is a bit more summery and playful, but still appropriate for work (at least at the Song of Style office!).
