I was in desperate need of a tropical vacation, and since there isn’t one on my calendar any time soon, I decided I would just make it happen here in LA. All you really need is some warm weather, and the perfect straw hat to have a nice little staycation. Jacopo even came to see me for a few days before we left for Korea (I’m actually there right now) so I don’t know what more I could have wanted! This IRO shirt dress (40% off) is the perfect piece to make you feel like you’re on vacation because it’s airy and playful with ruffles and you could even wear it over a swimsuit if you wanted. It also is a great piece to wear from day to night because the collar and cuffs make it seem a bit more formal if you styled it that way. We spent the day riding around on bikes and hitting up the flea market to score some things for the house.Like I said, any tropical vacation needs a perfect straw hat. I’ve had this Lola straw hat for a while and I love how oversized it is. It alllllllllllmost seems a bit ridiculous, but hey, I’m on vacation so let me live! Also to go with theme, I’m carrying this new Staud macramé bucket bag. I remember my mom having some macramé things from back in the 80s and I think the style is about to make its big comeback.
