Back in June, I traveled to Brazil to celebrate the launch of my good friend Camila Coelho’s collection launch at Revolve. This was my third time in Brazil but definitely the most memorable Brazil trip because I was there with so many of my friends and did it the Brazilian way.
I was coming from Korea (with a day layover in L.A.) on the day of the launch which meant eating my favorite bread pão de queijo at the airport and then going to Camila’s party held at Parque Lage – a stunning botanical garden (which is public) with insane views and a sick mansion that was also featured in Snoop Dogg and Pharrell’s Beautiful. You bet, we tried to recreate the music video by dancing the night away. Oh, the icing on the cake? The insane samba performance by these incredible dancers.

The next day, we flew from Rio to Porto Seguro and stayed at these beautiful eco lodge called Uxua Casa Hotel. I was quite tired from all the traveling so this place felt like paradise since it’s more of a relaxed chill vibe reminiscent of Tulum.
Tons of green juice, açaí bowl, and all of my favorite healthy food was available + my guilty pleasure pão de queijo, the cheesy bread. Ugh, I’m just salivating thinking about it.
For lunch one day, we ate at this amazing restaurant called Floresta Restaurante. It’s at the southern part of Bahia in a farm-like property filled with rubber trees. The whole atmosphere felt very warm as if you’re eating a really delicious home cooked meal at your grandma’s house who happens to have a beautiful farm in an exotic forest. I loved the whole farm to table idea. It was definitely my favorite meal I had in Brazil. This gorgeous matching set that I was wearing was also from Camila Coelho Collection
Thankfully, our schedule in Trancoso was so chill so most of the days, we spent wandering around the Quadrado or hanging at the hotel so I took advantage of the pool in our property. Here is a full tour of the hotel. I’m wearing an LPA Leopard print one piece swimsuit (similar here and here).
Every morning for breakfast, I had a green juice (unfortunately they didn’t have celery juice) and an açaí bowl. I’m wearing my Song of Style Marla Top.
Here are some other restaurant recommendations in Trancoso:
El Gordo – good for lunch;
Silvana & Cia – in Quadrado deTranscoso which was where our hotel was, we ate here for dinner;
Los Negros – good for meat but since I don’t eat meat, I ate all of their fried potatoes.
