20 Swimsuits For Your Next Getaway

20 Swimsuits For Your Next Getaway

Summer is just right around the corner! As you guys are planning your dream vacations for the summer, I thought I’d share with you my swimsuit guide because….looking cute is part of the plan, right? Now that the temperature is up, we finally have an excuse to shop for swimwear.

1. Maillots

One-piece swimsuits or maillots will always be classic (and stylish) options for your beach destination. This summer, I’d love to wear more high-leg styles as well as neon versions. Not only are maillots comfortable but they’re also versatile! See hthe 8 ways I style a swimsuit.

1. Topshop Neon Ribbed One Shoulder Swimsuit (only $50)
2. Marysia Venice Maillot One Shoulder Swimsuit
3. Solid & Striped Veronica Once Piece
4. Mara Hoffman Belted Swimsuit

2. Transitional Swimwear

Traveling light? Pack some transitional swimwear pieces that can take you from the beach to the city. For my two-week trip to Asia, I had to pack strategically to fit all my outfits in my suitcase and carry-on. I paired my bikini tops with various skirts and pants I brought for the trip.

1. Sundress Monica Bikini Top (under $110)
2. OYE Swimwear Lucette Bikini Set
3. PatBo Ruffled Bikini Top
4. Marysia Lehi Front-twist Bikini Top

3. Animal Print

If you think leopard and snakeskin prints should be left in winter, think again! This summer we’ll be seeing more animal prints on swimsuits. I can’t wait to wear these snakeskin options; they’re not too loud and besides – snakeskin prints are the new neutral right?

1. Stella McCartney Wrap Snakeskin Swimsuit
2. Mara Hoffman Bikini top (bikini bottom here)
3. Mikoh Menehune Bikini Top (bikini bottom here)
4. Mango Leopard Print Swimsuit (under $100)

4. High-waisted

High-waisted bikinis are probably my go-to every summer. They compliment my slim frame and hide my food baby. (haha you guys know how much I love snacking!) Shop high-waisted bikinis for a modest look and still get that crop top tan.

1. Mara Hoffman Lydia High-waist Bottom
2. Kate Spade Fort Tilden High-waist Bikini Bottom (under $100)
3. Marysia Sagaponack Gingham Bikini Briefs
4. Jonathan Simkhai High Wais Bikini Bottom

5. Belted Bikinis

Since all trends are major throwbacks, I’m looking forward to taking this retro belted trend from winter to spring! I love how the belt detail makes these swimsuits feel classic and feminine.

1. Solid & Striped Nina Belted Polkadot Bikini (another color here)
2. Onia Emily Bikini Bottom (top available here)
3. Nicholas Belted One Piece Swimsuit
4. Lisa Marie Fernandez Magdalena Bikini
