There are so many “pinch me” moments throughout my career as a blogger. From the first time I saw myself in a magazine to the time I hosted an event without expecting anyone to show up but ended up meeting so many of my readers to that time I saw Diane Von Furstenburg wearing the t-shirt I designed on her blog and on her TV show. Well, I’m adding this one to the list! I’ve attended the Dior show before (when I went to Cannes to attend their Cruise show was another pinch me moment!) but this time was especially special because it’s one of Raf Simon’s last collection as well as my favorite collection so far. I’ve respected Raf Simon since his Jil Sander days so to see his collection to life, and to see one of this last collections in person is something I’m going to always cherish. From the whole outside set-up (thousands and thousands of delphinium flowers were covering Louvre’s Cour Carré as well as the inside venue) to the music to the outfits… everything was amazing. On top of that, I got to get my makeup done by the Dior beauty team and was dressed in Dior!
This was one of my favorite looks on the runway. Well, there were way too many for me to choose but I just love the strips and the pleats on this look. Oh, and how beautiful are the flowers in the background?
