If you’ve been reading my blog or following me on Instagram for a while now, there is no doubt in anybody’s mind that I adore palm trees– it’s the epitome of LA for me. The palm tree lined street of 6th street in the background of Michael Heizer’s installation “Levitated Mass” at LACMA is such a gorgeous site. Visiting LACMA also known as Los Angeles County Museum of Art is one of my favorite ways to get away from LA while still in LA.
This outfit was inspired by LACMA’s minimal and seamless architecture. I wore my black Tibi top and my all black culotte pants from The Fifth to contrast the clean, blank walls and light grey lamp posts. I thought it was a nice juxtaposition to highlight the modern and contemporary aspects of the museum.
I accessorized with Pandora’s Autumn collection because I thought the feather charms were the perfect symbol to ring in the Fall now that summer is coming to a close.
The deep purple hues of the charms with silver accents brought a pop of color to my monochromatic outfit which I love.
LA is such a huge city that is it sometimes easy to overlook gems like LACMA. Because of my busy schedule it’s hard to get catch a break in my own city. I loved spending my day at LACMA with my Fall inspired Pandora charms. The Autumn Collection will be available in stores and online soon! You can see a sneak peak (here).
